Chapter # 17 – Heartbreak : Devil's Dance –

Tasha smiled as she snuggled alongside Skorr who lay asleep, holding her while in human form. She'd come over to tell him about moving back to the Walkers, of course he was on defensive especially since she'd asked for him to come to the house.

That had been about ... she blinked and started to get up in a hurry. "Five hours ago!" she said to herself, cursing profusely for having fallen asleep and forgetting to call home – her family was going to kill her!

Skorr rumbled as he awoke, "wha's wrong?" he asked her.

"It, I’s nothing." Tasha said with a sigh as she got dressed and looked at the ground. "Just tinkin’ is all."

"Your worried" he said hugging her to himself, "what is it?" he asked her.

"I'm just wonderin’ what da Walkers will be tinkin’ ‘bout." Tasha replied as she stared at the ground.

He kissed her, "because your pregnant?" he asked her.

"Dat an’ ‘cause I have worried dem so much. I feel so bad ‘bout doin’ dat." Tasha admitted as she kicked at something on the floor, thankfully she was with Skorr for the moment.

He gently hugged her, "but you felt like you didn't belong there anymore" he said stating the obvious, trying very hard to hide the fact that her cousin would make her leave him, "you never felt accepted by any of them even before we first met" he said remembering that fateful day.

"Yeah," she looked up into Skorr's expressive eyes, "but dere my only family, Jessica more so den da rest of dem.” She said before she allowed him to hug her. “I miss dem so much at times." Tasha stated her accent becoming clearer as she got agitated. She looked at the floor instantly thinking that she’d done something to make him angry, that she was at fault for something again.

Instead she felt his arms encircle her gently before he kissed her lovingly. “Shhhhh” he said lovingly. “I’m right here my nightlily.” He replied in a soothing tone, “and I will never leave you.” He promised.

Tasha smiled, “yer always here when I need someone ta talk to ain’t ya?” she asked him.

Skorr nodded, his eyes meeting hers and suddenly she realized the feelings emanating from him, he was actually afraid that she would stop loving him?

Tasha starred into his eyes, trying to make since of what Skorr was feeling. She sighed and held him close. "I could never stop lovin’ yas Skorry, never!" Tasha said before she kissed him fiercely.

He looked at her, his form shifting back, his tail wrapping around her waist and he purred contentedly as he kissed her, tears falling from his eyes as he held this girl, no this woman who’d given herself to him and only him, he hoped that it would always be this way between them.

“I gotta go Skorry,” she said before she put her boots on, “will ya come on by later on?” she asked absently as she put her transformation medallion back on, snapping the clasp into place behind her neck before she absently yet lovingly fingered the bite marks that were on her neck.

“I will,” he said as he hugged her to himself, his wings and tail wrapped around her body, his arms encircling the waist of her lithe female figure. “For I will go to the very depths of the neatherealm to bring you all that you’re heart desires and more.” He stated in a gentle voice. “I will kill and die at your command my love for you are the shining star that makes me smile.”

Tasha smiled happily upon hearing that, tears falling from her eyes before she threw her arms around his neck then kissed him deeply. “Maybe I should stay fer a couple’o’hours,” she replied in a seductive and sultry voice. “You know, teach ya how bad I can be,” she purred slyly.

Skorr laughed then kissed her back deeply, “your cousin’s going to go nuts if you don’t show up soon,” he said with a grin.

“I know,” Tasha said as she looked at him, “I dunn tink she’ll be dat upset though.”

“You’re a very baaaaaaaaad girl,” he teased before he nuzzled her, “a very baaaaaaaaad girl indeed,” he said with a possessive growl, “and all mine” he said before kissing her again.

“I know” Tasha said as she smiled a lot more then she’d ever done in her life, for the first time in what had been her life, Tasha felt like she was flying again, and this time however she wasn’t alone…

Jessica woke up to the soft buzzing of the television, she rolled over in Kevin's arm to see the blank screen on the TV; their movie was over and had been for *several hours? * She thought to herself as she sat up, stretched, then looked at the clock on the wall…

…It read 3:16 am.

Kevin slept soundly on the couch beside her and she smiled a bit as she looked at her boyfriend’s face before she got up and walked up the stairs to Tasha's room in an effort to see if her cousin was alright since Tasha hadn’t come out of her room for a while. She stopped upon entering the room to find that there was something very important missing from the room, or rather someone ... namely Tasha herself.

**She’s not in her room, maybe she’s outside** Jessica thought as she went downstairs and looked out the window to see if she could see Tasha's motorcycle parked out front, only to find that it was still not in the driveway.

She sighed inwardly worrying about her cousin as she walked to the door and opened it; hoping that maybe Tasha was outside smoking on the doorstep or something. Upon waiting on the doorstep and looking around the yard there was still no sign of her black haired cousin.

“Where is she?” she asked herself as Eclipse walked up to her and nuzzled her hand in a friendly and supportive manner.

That was when a blood red portal flared to life and two figures emerged, one a hulking and very familiar gray skinned bat winged demon, the other her cousin who had Skorr's right arm encircled around her waist, the two of them talking quietly, Tasha laughing at some joke that Skorr had told her.

Jessica was going to say something but she instead just bit her tongue and stood there for a while, watching silently as her cousin kissed the demon who seemed to be her most ruthless enemy yet, a feeling of disgust and confusion running through her as well as a feeling of curiosity and surprise.

Skorr meanwhile smiled at Tasha before he gently kissed her on the lips, his neon green eyes meeting her bright jade green ones as they deepened the kiss, Skorr's arms around her back, hers around his waist, his tail wrapped around the lower part of her waist.

Jessica stood still watching this display of affection with only one thing on her mind, if he hurt her... she thought protectively before she began to wonder how a monster like him could love her cousin the way he did she thought curiously as she watched them both, she was surprised because he seemed so cruel and evil whenever she fought him.

Yet now he seemed stranger still, as if he had real emotions and all of them were directed at her cousin. Was this his mask? Jessica wondered; did he hide most of his emotions from everyone save for Tasha? It made a lot of sense, since Skorr seemed to be in love with all of her, accepting her when Tasha believed that no one could.

Gradually Jessica’s thoughts turned to the baby her cousin was carrying within her womb, would it be a human or a demon? Would it look monstrous like her cousin’s lover? Would it be a girl or a boy and look just like Tasha or would it be something else?

“Sure ya can’t come in?” Tasha asked him pleadingly pouting slightly.

“I don’t think you’re cousin would like it” he said before he turned to go, he then sighed upon seeing her pouting. “How is it?” he began, “that whenever you do that I always wind up doing whatever it is you want me to do?” he asked.

“’cause ya loooove me,” Tasha said teasingly, “an’ ya dunn want me being unhappy.” She pointed out before she grinned a little.

Skorr sighed, “there should be some law about that,” he teased.

“Is it workin’?” She asked coyly already knowing the answer.

“You have to ask?” he asked as he walked over to her then kissed her ardently as he hugged her to himself. “Whatever am I going to do with you?” he asked her as they broke the kiss.

“Come inside an’ meet m’family?” Tasha asked hopefully, “gimme tons o’ tings dat’ll make me smile?” She said as she looked up at him.

“Alright, I’ll face the firing squad that is your cousin,” he said before she elbowed him in the ribs.

“Be nice,” Tasha said half jokingly, Jessica meanwhile having already gone inside to avoid detection.

"Mmmm what time is it?" Kevin asked before he smiled up at Jessica before he blinked upon seeing what time it was, "umm guess I should go" he said sheepishly before the door opened and Tasha walked in with a young man with dark brown hair, startling green eyes and a handsome face.

Tasha smiled happily as Skorr’s left hand gently squeezed her own, before she then looked up nervously at Jessica and Kevin.

Jessica starred wide-eyed at the young man that had walked in through the door with her cousin *Skorr is Jason? * She thought as she faked a yawn. "Oh hey Tasha, you missed the movie." She said while rubbing her eyes tiredly before she elbowed Kevin who was about to say something.

"Umm well I'll see you later Jessica," he said before he gently kissed her on the cheek.

"Bye,” Jessica said before she looked at Skorr who hadn’t left Tasha’s side for a moment. “Hey Jason? Why don't you come by tomorrow. We were going to the park." She suggested. "Before it closes for winter." She said wanting to keep an eye on the demigod and make sure that he was treating Tasha right.

"Uhh yeah" he replied before he leaned in then kissed Tasha very deeply and ardently, encircling his arms around her, holding her to himself … Tasha for the most part not doing anything to stop him from kissing her, moaning into the kiss.

Jessica and Kevin both looked down at the floor, unsure of what to make of this very blatant display of affection. "Well,” Jessica said as she got up and stretched. “I'm off to bed." She said with a small smile, which seemed oblivious to the other couple and Jessica giggled mentally wondering when they were going to come up for air.

After what seemed like forever the couple broke the kiss and they smiled at each other, Tasha blushing somewhat as she looked up at him before she shifted nervously upon seeing Jessica and Kevin. “Uhhh sorries,” she said nervously.

"Hey no worries, you two look happy together." Jessica said as she stretched again and smiled genuinely at her cousin, figuring that if Tasha was happy then maybe things would not be so bad – though she didn’t trust Skorr in the least …

…He was after all a demon…

Tasha smiled a little before Skorr kissed her again. "I'll see you tomorrow" he told her and Tasha nodded before heading off to bed, leaving them both alone. "Stay out of my affairs Sailor Sun or I will send you somewhere that's far more terrifying then the neatherealm itself" he warned in a cold voice as he turned to address her his manner no longer loving and caring, no now it was cruel, evil and somewhat insane.

Jessica blinked in shock as she looked at Skorr in astonishment before Kevin stepped in front of her protectively. "We will see you tomorrow,” he said through gritted teeth as he glared at the demon angrily.

Skorr looked at them both and laughed very cruelly his true form being revealed by a mirror. "Yes you will and when tomorrow comes you'll be sorry for what you did before Tasha arrived here" he said before he vanished in a cloud of reddish smoke.

"Be sorry for what?" Jessica asked as he turned and held her close for a moment. "What are we to be sorry for?” She said in confusion as she looked at Kevin.

"I...I don't know." He replied not liking what Skorr had said, surprised and appalled by Skorr’s arrogance and hatred of Jessica as they both looked at the place where Skorr had once stood, the smoke having already cleared leaving behind a small hole in the rug which had been apparently burned severely…

****The Neatherealm****

Skorr appeared in a flash and bowed low before his father who turned to look at a huge glowing orb, inside the orb was Shi-ryuu who was beginning his ascent to the status of a demigod, his body ablaze in neatherealm fire itself, his eyes being the only things that announced that he was among the living.

"They will be on guard" Akajun stated calmly before smiling, "although that may work to our advantage" he said calmly before he turned to Baraka, "begin your attack on the earth realm" he ordered and the nomad bowed before a portal appeared and he and three squads of nomads went through it.

"Watch your brother" Akajun ordered. "I'm going to find Takai, he's not reported in yet" Akajun said as he got up a smaller portal opening up to Takai's apartment which was thankfully one of the few places where the fallen elder could go to since it had been prepared for him.

Skorr bowed reverently to his father who faded into nothing as he teleported to Takai's room. The demigod then gently caressed the orb his brother was encased in and smiled evilly as he watched his brother, happy to have Shi back among the living once more.

Unbeknownst to him, Reickon Tou was watching, grinning to himself the sorcerer sliced his own palm, letting blood fall onto a small crystal, which began to glow a dark purple color before it vanished in a puff of smoke. "Now their love will be poisoned," he said to himself before he vanished as well…

…It was then that a portal opened and Baraka and his army began their vicious attack, destroying everything in their path, killing as many humans as they could while Baraka and a female ninja in light purple and black watched silently. "Now begin plan,” Baraka grunted stupidly as he grinned to the female ninja. “Baraka smarter then female heroes.” He said arrogantly.

The female ninja nodded in agreement before she silently pointed towards the Stellar Scouts and Baraka grinned evilly, “now we have fun” he said slowly.

Sailor Sun ran forward in the lead of the rest of the Stellar Senshi. She stopped some twenty yards away from the advancing army of the Neatherealm. She braced herself and got into a fighting stance. The other senshi came up on either side and Daystar Knight stood right behind her.

"All right everyone we can do this – just have faith, and pair off with one another." She looked around the group. "Sailor Shaula and Sailor Spica you two go together, and Sailor Capella you go with Sailor Pollux, I will go with Daystar Knight, and we will be able to over come them." She turned to look at the advancing foes.

"Just work together and try to get the people out of their war path, they do not deserve to die in this fight. It should not involve them."

All at once everyone said, "Right." And broke off into their own fighting groups and started to take on the small army. Sailor Shaula and Sailor Spica meet their foes with a blast of fire and water, flinging them from their feet into a near by building.

Sailor Capella at the time was controlling her vines to wrap around and hold the enemies and any that invaded the attack where being forced by G-Force winds by one of Sailor Pollux's attacks. Meanwhile Sailor Sun and Daystar Knight weren't having as much luck.

But they were fighting strong and taking down the group of enemies that had circled around them. Sailor Sun thrust her hand into the air, "I call upon the great power's of the star which is the center of the Sol system – bring forth the legendary Sun Fire Saber!"

Mileena struck without warning, attacking viciously her Sais nearly slicing into Sailor Sun as she attacked without mercy, while Baraka tried to impale Daystar Knight with his arm blades. “NOW BARAKA KILL YOU!!” he screamed as he attacked with blind fury.

Sailor Sun spun around and dodged to the side away from the deadly points. She struck out with her sword for it only to be met again with the flashy Sais of her new opponent. She grunted as she pushed up on her sword, causing the new villain to take a step back.

But Mileena didn't stop there she whirled around, moving her second sai in order to strike a diversionary tactic all before bringing her other sai up and hitting Sailor Sun in the jaw with the hilt of the weapon causing the leader of the Stellar Scouts to stumble back.

Sailor Sun rubbed the blood from her face on her gloves, smearing them with blood. She ran forward with her sword pointed towards Mileena's heart only the purple and black clad ninja quickly brought her sais up then used them to yank the sword away from Sailor Sun her eyes narrowed before she punched Sailor Sun hard in the jaw. She did not stumble this time around; instead she swung her foot, hooked her toe with the back of Mileena's leg - causing her to loose her balance for the time being and fall to the ground. Mileena fell but only for a few moments before she then flipped up and over her opponent.

Narrowing her eyes Mileena then hurled a small energy ball right at Sailor Sun’s head but she dodged before the ball could hit her then struck out with a side blow which sent the female ninja staggering back long enough for her to clear her head and attack with a vicious uppercut that knocked Mileena down.

Quickly she grabbed her sword and prepared to strike at the villain’s very heart once more but this time Baraka attacked, having somehow managing to dispatch the Daystar Knight, the nomad roared and attacked her the blades running along his arms blocking her attacks.

“Baraka KILL YOU!” he screamed as his eyes glowed with malice, his sharp pointy serrated teeth gleaming as he tried to bite her, his arm blades pushing her sword back away from Mileena’s chest and his as well his huge bat like pointy ears giving him the look of a devilish creature.

She had no time to react she couldn't move out of Baraka's way in time, she felt a sharp pain that went through her whole body as she felt the barbs go through her flesh. She tried to cry out in pain but couldn't, her breathe was gone. The pain instantly went away and she felt complete nothingness.

Baraka snarled as a lightning bolt hurled him back and he staggered to his feet a white glow surrounding the downed Sailor Sun before the glow got brighter and a beam of lightning hit the nomad leader and Mileena hard throwing them back.

Thunder was heard as even more lightning flashed and the nomads fled following Baraka and Mileena.

The Senshi turned towards the blinding light and had to put their arms up to shield their eyes. Each of them could make out the form of Sailor Sun as it was lifted into the air in the white dome of light before it disappeared in a bright flash.

"Sailor Sun!" Sailor Pollux called out as she ran over to the spot where her leader had just been standing, but there was nothing there from her, just a pool of blood. The rest of the senshi ran over, including Daystar Knight.

"Where? Where is she?" Sailor Shaula asked as she looked around in confusion.

"She can't just disappear like that!" Sailor Capella looked around frantically for their leader, but there was no sign of her anywhere.

From the shadows Reickon Tou's eyes narrowed angrily as he watched them before he glared at Baraka, "looks like we'll have to update our time table" he said before they vanished in a portal.
