Bianca was the first to hear the cry coming from the hospital 
room; she was also the first to the door, shoving everyone 
else out of her way in her 
attempt to see what was going on.

As she opened the door her eyes widened in horror upon 
seeing the monitor. "Tash?" she asked as she moved beside 
her friend, her voice 
choking and cracked with emotion. "TJ?"

"Miss? Please leave the room" one of the doctors said, a 
nurse taking hold of Bianca's arm.

"No way in hell I will!" she said shoving the other person back,
 staying by Tasha's side.

Jessica still stood in the corner in shock looking at the scene 
that was before her eyes, tears were streaming down her 
face as the doctors yelled "CLEAR!" again and tried to revive 
Tasha's lifeless body.

"Slaggit TJ dunn you leave us!!" Bianca snarled as she fought 
the tears that threatened to overwhelm her. "Ya said ya 
wouldn't!"

"CLEAR!" the doctors yelled before they sighed in relief. "We've
 got a heartbeat."

Jessica's own heart felt like it stopped when her cousins 
started up again. Her legs gave out and she slowly sank to 
the floor.

"B?" a brooklyn accented voice that belonged to a girl who 
(while shorter then Tasha) yet  just as pretty walked in, her 
short purple colored hair with two black stripes along either 
side gleaming a bit along with her healthy tan and violet 
colored eyes. "How's T doin'?"

"Ahh dunno Lexy." Bianca said hugging the other girl, sighing. 
"Her heart stopped fer a bit."

Looking towards the other girl Jessica could only guess that 
she was going to turn out to be one of the Apocalypse Senshi 
along with Tasha and the others. But now wasn't the time to 
think about that, she stood up and watched as the doctors 
left the room, they said something about 
everyone leaving for a few minutes.

Bianca looked like she was about to have a fit before the 
new girl said something to her before turning to look at the 
doctors, and after a few moments of talking to him she 
grinned as they left. "Sucker" she said with a laugh, "we even 
get free food out of the deal."

Jessica left the room as asked and sat down outside on the 
padded green seats.

Kat walked by her then into the room, sitting down beside 
Bianca and the new girl, "how is she?" she asked.

"Dunno, ya kin thank Lexy fer gitting the doctors ta let us stay."

Kat smiled then huged 'Lexy'. "Heyas Alexis."

"What have I told you 'bout calling me that Kathy?" Lexy 
asked with a small laugh.

"Not to." Kat said, the three of them sharing a smile as they 
sat there beside their friend, not caring that the door was 
open.

"So how're things in this small two bit town?" Lexy asked with 
a laugh.

"Alright Ahh guess, TJ's cous is really gittin on mah nerves." 
Bianca said with a shrug, "'tween her'n'the rest o' them TJ 
ain't had a moment's piece."

Lexy winced, "that bad huh? so what are their names?" she 
asked.

"Alissa John, Brooke Rodgers, Jennifer Allen, and Madison 
Connor." Kat said with a shrug, "not to mention Jessica 
Walker and her boytoy Kevin Hoshi" Kat replied with a sigh. 
"Don't know why Tasha loves Jessica, I mean the girl seems 
all high and mighty."

"Ohh" Lexy said as she forced a smile. "Rodgers huh? small 
world" she replied nervously as she got up. "I'm going to go 
get some food. You girls hungry?"

Bianca and Kat exchanged a look before looking at their 
friend. "Yeah, you know them?" Kat asked warily.

"No, just wondering is all" Lexy said skittishly, the last thing she 
needed were for people to poke around in her past ... she 
wanted nothing to do with the Rodgers.

"Ya cin drop the act gurl" Bianca said slowly, "thar's no one 
here thet's gonna judge you, Ahh mean sure ya know them, 
it ain't like their yer family or somethin'."

Lexy just looked at the floor, suddenly crying.

Kat's eyes widened as did Bianca's. "Ohhh sweety, B didn't 
mean it like that" Kat said hugging her friend. "We just ... well 
you know." She said slowly.

"Ahh didn't know thet they were kinfolk" Bianca said hugging 
her friend as well

"Yeah heh, TJ ain't so special huh? I only saw them a couple 
times so I don't think they'd remember me anyways - not like 
they cared. Mom an' Dad didn't."

Jessica sat there as the puzzle pieces began to fit into place - 
that was why Alexis had gotten upset upon hearing that 
name. She sigh knowing that she would have to tell Brooke 
once she got a chance that her cousin ... Lexy, Alexis was 
back in town.

"Aww hell, Ahh'm sorry Lexy" Bianca said as she hugged the 
smallest member of the gang. "Ahh didn't know."

"Didn't want anyone to know. I mean I was done when mom 
an.. and dad died so that's that" Lexy admitted before she 
sighed. "I'm gonna go get something to eat - you guys 
hungry or not?"

"You'd better not get into trouble" Kat said as she arched an 
eyebrow. "Namely because we don't have enough money to 
bail you out of jail if 
you do something stupid."

"I won't" Lexy said with a grin as she turned then walked out 
of the hospital room, humming the song 'Whiskey in the Jar' 
as she continued to walk out of the hospital - glad for having 
at least pushed away the reminders of her family for the 
moment.

Sighing she shook her head remembering the last time she 
had seen Brooke, her aunt, uncle and her other cousin Trent - 
it had been so long ago, just a bunch of memories that she 
didn't even want to reflect on.

Shaking her head in order to clear her thoughts she reached 
into her pocket in order to get some cigarettes before she 
growled - she didn't have any on her at the moment. "Just 
my luck" she said before she smiled upon seeing a well 
dressed man then walked over and began to flirt with him.

As she continued to flirt with the guy, Lexy put her arms 
around his waist then she slid one hand into the man's 
pocket and quickly removed his wallet, before she placed a 
kiss on his cheek then she handed him a phony number. "Call 
me sometime" she said in a sultry voice before she started to 
walk towards a small store.

Just then Brooke was walking out of the store with a small 
bad of some snack food and some water which she knew 
Jessica would probably be needing at this point. She was 
busy putting change in her pocket that she didn't notice 
Alexis rounding the corner.

With a laugh Alexis turned the corner, bumping into Brooke 
hard knocking them both over. "Sorry" she said in a jittery 
tone.

"It's okay." Brooke said as she picked up some of her change.

"HEY!!" The man said angrily as he noticed that his wallet was 
gone. "YOU LITTLE TRAMP!!" he shouted as he started to walk 
over to where Lexy was.

"Uhh gotta go!" Lexy said ducking into an alleyway.

"Alexis?" Brooke asked confused as she looked at the girl that 
had a very good resemblance to her cousin.

Lexy stopped for a second then groaned. "Ohh hell - 
Bro..ook..e" she said with a stammer as their eyes locked 
instantly then Lexy broke into a run, she did a flip off of a t
rash can and landed on the other side of a chain fence and 
kept running as the angry man began to chase after her.

"Get back here with my wallet you little whore!" the owner of 
the wallet shouted.

Brooke just watched her cousin as she ran away with wide 
eyes. It took a few moments and a mental shake of her head 
before she made her way into the hospital and up to Jessica.

Kat sighed, "yep no doubt about it - Lexy's gone and gotten 
herself into trouble again - Bi? can you?"

"Ahhready on it" Bianca said leaving the room quickly, 
shaking her head. "She'd bettah not have the cops after her 
u'gain" she muttered semi darkly.

Kat sighed as she gently held Tasha's hand. "What else could 
go wrong?"

Brooke walked into the waiting room and it didn't take long 
to spot Jessica. "Here I brought you something to tide you 
over for now." She set the bag down on Jessica's lap.

"Oh Brooke you didn't have to!" Jessica said, but she wasn't 
about to refuse the food because she was rather hungry.

Kat stuck her head out of the room, "hey Brooke" she said 
before she looked at Jessica, "you want to umm.. spend 
some time alone with Tash?" she asked.

"Yeah sure . . . why?" she asked confused for a moment.

"Well.. there's the fact that you are her cousin an.. and she 
was calling for you earlier remember?" Kat asked with a sigh. 
"Plus I am going to go get some food and make a phone 
call to Danielle and Bria." She said with a tired yawn. "And 
get some coffee.

Jessica smiled and nodded, "thanks" she said as she looked 
at Kat.

"No prob 'sides your family - of sorts anyways." Kat said in 
reply before she walked down the corridor.

"Well that is a little odd." Brooke said as she watched them 
leave.

"Yeah. "Jessica said mentally cringing - she didn't want to tell 
Brooke this but her friend did need to know. "I saw Alexis 
earlier today. 
Sh..she's one of the gang that Tasha and them belong to."

"Yeah I just saw her outside; she was being chased by some 
man. I guess she stole his wallet." Brooke said as she cast her 
eyes down at 
her lap. "That is where Kat and Bianca are probley headed 
off to."

"You okay?" Jessica asked in concern.

"Yeah, it has just been awhile. I would never thought that she 
would show up here, or be an Apocalypse Scout."

"Yeah I know" Jessica said as she looked down at Tasha's 
body, "are you going to try to talk to her?" she asked.

"I don't know. I would like to know why she is here, aside 
from being a friend to Tasha and the gang." She sighed. "But 
she never did like 
me. We have only met a few times briefly.

Jessica nodded slowly, "doesn't mean you shouldn't ... stop 
trying." She said as she looked at her cousin.

"I don't know. Maybe I should just stand back and let her live 
her life. What you have tried to do with Tasha would be my 
first reaction, but it doesn't seem to work well." She sighed 
again. "Why don't you go and sit with Tasha? I'm going to 
go for a walk I think."

She nodded a bit then headed for the room.

Lexy panted heavily looking over her shoulder, for the 
moment she had lost the idiot guy whose wallet she had 
stolen but the town was different then the last time she had 
been here and some of the things were new to her, shaking 
her head she started heading down another area, really 
wishing that Bianca was here.

Sure she knew how to fight - but not as well as the others - 
especially Bianca who was the strongest member of the 
gang, rubbing her eyes tiredly she threw the wallet - after 
taking out the credit cards and all the money the man had, 
had on him.

"What else can go wrong?" she asked tiredly, rubbing her 
eyes unknowingly echoing Kat's sentiment as she kept 
walking not even paying attention to where she was going.

"Dis is da one time I wish dat Brooke was here." She mumbled 
to herself. "Then I wouldn' have to worry 'bout getting sent ta 
jail."

Sighing again Alexis looked around the alley before she went 
through the man's wallet.

Brooke followed Alexis and watched her form a safe and 
unseen distance, she was debating if it where good for her to 
go ahead and confront her cousin.

Lexis yawned then rubbed her eyes. "Least it wasn't Trent who 
saw me" she said with a shake of her head before she smiled 
upon one of the few times she and Brooke had actually 
gotten along. "Man Halloween was fun."

“Yeah it was, except for a few things. ”Brooke said walking 
out form behind the garbage dumpster.

Lexxy blinked in surprise, "ohh come on toilet papering the 
neighbors yard was funny."

`That was great, but all of the running in the cold gave me a 
killer throat infection.

"Didn't know you'd be here" Lexxy said as she went through 
the wallet.

“I could say the same thing.”

Lexxy shrugged. "Have family to look out for" she told her.

“You can be meaning the Tasha that I know; you must be 
the Lexy that Bianca was talking about.

She nodded, "pretty much. Me, Bianca and Kats were the 
originals then TJ came and then the sisters and Amanda 
showed up."

Ì see, so have you been up to see her yet.

She nodded, "how's life been treating you?"

“Pretty good for the most part, kind of have a boyfriend too.” 
She smiled and blushed at the thought of Takai.

"You two done 'it' yet?" she asked a little crudely.

Brooke’s eyes went wide and her mouth dropped open. “No 
never!”

Lexy grinned, "'m sure TJ's cous has told you 'bout how wild TJ 
an' the rest o' us are."

"Maybe I can give you some pointers too" Lexy said with 
smirk.

The following message could not be delivered to all 
recipients. "Maybe I can give you some pointers too" Lexy said 
with smirk.

"Maybe I can give you some pointers cous" she added with a 
smirk.

“That is okay I think, I’m not ready for that yet.”

Lexy shook her head. "Ya dunno what yer missin'" she said 
with a laugh, "then again for all we know I could just be 
connin' ya."

“I wouldn’t put it past you.” Broke teased.

Lexy arched an eyebrow. "Yer sooooo going down" she said 
before she tackled Brooke then began to tickle her.

The startled girl laughed as she tried to fight off her cousin 
and tickling her right back.

But Alexis was faster, pinning her cousin's arms behind her 
back with one hand she continued to tickle her with the 
other.

"That's her officer!" a voice snarled and the two turned to see 
the man whose pocket Lexy had picked earlier along with a 
police officer.

"Uhhh hi" Lexy said with a weak smile instinctively planning 
her way out of this jam.

Brooke looked up form where she lay pinned to the ground. 
“Run Alexis.” She whispered. “I’ll stall them.”

But Lexy turned and smirked. "Looks like ya got me" she said 
as she held out her hands in front of her before she dropped 
a small canister that began to smoke and she covered her 
eyes and her mouth with one hand before grabbing Brooke 
with the other. "C'mon!" she said.

Brooke looked at her cousin then back to the two coughing 
men and decided to run with her cousin. “It is just like 
Halloween again.

"Jus' like ole' times!" Lexy said with a laugh.

The pair ran down the alleyway, they had to jump over 
random pieces of garbage and anything else blocking their 
path.

Finally however they were safe and Lexy laughed a bit before 
she smiled at Brooke. "Now dat was fun."

Brooke nodded her head. “It kind of was.” A smile spread 
across her face.

"We do lotta stuff like dat in da gang 'm in." She said with a 
laugh. "Only ting dat was never good I tink was bein' a 
whore."

“How could you do that to yourself? I don’t see the logic.”

Lexy shrugged. "Needed the money" she said with a shrug. 
"We dunn do it much anymore though."
